Class RC2 is designed for the opportunist burglar with a screwdriver and a wedge. RC3 — for the prepared one, with a crowbar and time on his hands. Such a level is rare among roller shutters: Safety Premium became the first construction of this class in Poland, and the confirmation comes not from an in-house test but from testing at the German institute IFT Rosenheim to the current European standard EN 1627:2021. These are precisely the classes insurers usually ask for in houses with valuable contents.
The first is the specially reinforced guide rails: the curtain profiles can be neither bent out nor pulled from the channel. The second is the curtain itself, made of extruded aluminium PE 55, which withstands blows and attempts to break through. The third is the catch mechanism in the lower section, which locks a closed shutter solidly against lifting. Each line covers its own attack scenario — together they add up to class RC3.
The aluminium construction is light, unfazed by the weather and needs no maintenance; operation is by motor with a radio remote or through your smart home, including a 'whole house closed' scenario at the touch of a button for the night or while you are on holiday. The colour is matched to your windows and facade from the Aluprof palette.
